The "Midis de la microfinance et de l'inclusion financière" are conferences on issues facing the inclusive finance industry and developments within it. Organised by the Luxembourg-based microfinance support agency, ADA (Appui au Développement Autonome), the latest conference was held at Banque de Luxembourg on the subject of risk management.

Risk management applied to African microfinance institutions

The speakers used a concrete example of coaching between a financial consultant specialising in risk management and a microfinance institution in Togo, the Coopérative d’Epargne et de Crédit des Artisans (CECA).

The conference enabled the coach and coachee to discuss their experience with the Luxembourg public, describe the realities they experienced on the ground, and present the positive outcomes.
