Banque de Luxembourg and Maison Moderne have published a book telling the stories of ten family businesses in Luxembourg.

The stories show how the country’s history has influenced the development of the businesses, as well as illustrating how these companies, and many others, have left their mark on the life and evolution of the Grand Duchy. The Lentz family, Brasserie Nationale

“As blonde as the malt from which it is brewed, its bubbles leap to the top of the glass before bursting to form a cool, light froth. On the sun-kissed terraces of Place de Paris or at the end of the family kitchen table, whether it’s called Bofferding or Battin, its distinctive flavour has earned it the status of ‘national drink’. Its taste and history date back to the 18th century - an era when this little blonde from Luxembourg was already carving out a niche next to its Belgian and German neighbours. Today, the Lentz family continues to preserve the Grand Duchy’s brewing history through its beer production.”
