Around 180 people attended the recent conference on shareholder foundations for the common good, “Les fondations actionnaires: l’entreprise au service du bien commun”, held in our Auditorium in the presence of the Justice Minister, Félix Braz, and international experts. Philippe Depoorter, member of the Management Committee of Banque de Luxembourg explains: “Shareholder foundations enable their founding entrepreneurs to give full expression to their personal and financial commitment and serve causes close to their heart. In so doing, a shareholder foundation also contributes to nurturing the entrepreneur’s business and integrating it into a long-term perspective.”
